Dr. Richard Davidson, D.C.

Dr. Richard Davidson started his health career as a massage therapist in 1985. For seven years he worked as the massage therapist for Ivan Lendl, the world's number 1 ranked tennis player and of 7 grand slam events. In 1990 he graduated from New York Chiropractic College and in 1992 he became a board certified chiropractic sports practitioner (CCSP).

Dr. Davidson has used his unique combination of massage therapy and chiropractic to treat thousands of athletes over the past 19 years. Olympic gold medalist Jenny Thompson (swimming), Million Wolde (track) and Christine Tuescher (swimming) have all been under his care. His interest in chiropractic began when he was a young boy. He would accompany his mom to her monthly chiropractic visits and would be adjusted by Dr. Guarino when he was run down, sick, or suffering from the structural imbalances caused by his active sports participation.

Dr. Davidson was an All-State swimmer while at New Rochelle High School in the mid 70's. He earned an athletic scholarship to the University of North Carolina and was selected by the Educational Foundation as the team's Most Outstanding Senior Swimmer. He now swims on a Masters team, rides his mountain bike and does yoga regularly.

He is past president of the New York Chiropractic Council's District 5, which includes Westchester, Bronx and Rockland Counties. He and his wife Mary live in New Rochelle and they have four wonderful children.

Dr. JC Doornick, D.C.

Dr. JC Doornick’s interest in Chiropractic began when he himself was a patient as a little boy. Growing up as an athlete playing Hockey, Football and Lacrosse through college he regularly visited the local chiropractor whenever he was sick or had sports injury. Wanting to be a doctor one day, it was only natural to go to chiropractic school as the chiropractor had kept him healthy for so many years. It was not until he came upon a debilitating disc injury in his low back did he begin to learn the amazing recuperative powers of the chiropractic adjustment. Evading disc surgery and going on to live a healthy lifestyle are two valuable things he owes to chiropractic.

Dr. JC received his Doctorate from Life Chiropractic University in Marietta, GA. With the strong urge to take his healing ability back to Westchester, he first worked in a large practice in Manhattan where he fine-tuned his adjusting skills. In this high volume practice Dr. JC delivered care to many professional athletes and local celebrities. Dr. JC now practices at the new, State of The Art, Westchester Family Chiropractic and Wellness Center in Harrison, NY. He specializes sports injury care for athletes along with the gentle care of children of all ages and expecting mothers.

Dr. JC is the President/CEO and Co-Founder of Chiromission, which is the "Doctors without Borders" of the Chiropractic profession. Chiromission, is responsible for bringing drug free health care to third world countries where people are not fortunate to have access to such a luxury. Dr. JC holds a New York State Chiropractic license and is President of the New York Chiropractic Council (Westchester/Rockland/Bronx) and is certified with the (ICPA) International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. In 2007, he was honored with CLA Chiropractor of the Month, CLA Humanitarian of the Year and received the 40 under 40 "Rising Stars" of Westchester award. Dr. JC is proud to be appointed one of the team Chiropractors for the New York Rangers for the 2005-2006 professional hockey season. Over the years his mission has been to educate people of all ages on the incredible benefits of a healthy spine and nervous system.
